Preferred candidates will have extensive experience with Epic Systems, and/or WorkDay and Kronos

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Business Application Manager, the Application Analyst offers guidance and support to application users, encompassing tasks such as analyzing user requirements, crafting reports and presentations, resolving issues, delivering user training, and producing comprehensive user documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare/computer-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to analyze and translate user requirements into specifications, along with the preparation of detailed design/implementation documentation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical reasoning and logical problem-solving.
• Competence in application design, build, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong advocacy for suitable technology solutions and a commitment to advancing organizational readiness and capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in architecture, covering both on-premises and Cloud business applications.
• Familiarity with Kronos UKG systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Install and configure applications.
2. Maintain, monitor, and patch existing applications.
3. Adjust, modify, and audit system/user permissions for applications, ensuring appropriate system security levels and continually enhancing enterprise threat posture.
4. Monitor and audit application configurations, backups, and jobs.
5. Upgrade and migrate legacy applications.
6. Conduct application capacity planning, setup, performance tuning, and monitoring.
7. Contribute to purchasing decisions, testing, and pre-sales due diligence, including necessary tech reviews.
8. Detect and troubleshoot application slowness and resource contention.
9. Ensure continuous planned uptime and participate in rotating on-call duties, planning, and implementation.
10. Assist with application task automation and workflows.
11. Possess a deep understanding of the underlying application schema and act as a data steward to aid in queries, views, stored procedures, reports, and ETLs.
12. Participate actively in agile team projects.
